Student Experiences

“The expert level of tuition we received on the Outdoor Education Course gave me the confidence to challenge everything head on and I was always encouraged to reach my full potential. Learning from experienced tutors who have worked at the top level in the outdoor industry gave me the confidence to open my own adventure centre just 12months after completing the course. The advice I received during this time was invaluable and helped my business become what it is.”
Ronan O Connor – Owner Ardmore Adventures. O.E student 2006–2008.

“My time on the Kinsale Outdoor Education Instructor Training Course was a great learning experience, brilliant fun and I finished with qualifications which were essential to furthering my career in the outdoor adventure industry. Thanks to the skills and experience I gained, I quickly got a fulltime job setting up and running a SOLAS (formerly FAS) course in Outdoor Recreation. The Kinsale course is run by enthusiastic, experienced instructors and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of a career in this area.”
